To be eligible to enter the LMxAC Trading Card drawing, players must not be employed by an LMxAC library or be an immediate family member of an LMxAC library employee.
Each player will be allowed one (1) certification form. If a single player collects multiple sets of trading cards, only one completed certification form will be deemed eligible for submission to the drawing for a prize.
Starting on June 21 and ending on August 30, 2019, players who collect all 32 unique LMxAC Trading Cards will be eligible to be entered into a drawing for a prize.
Players can pick up trading cards at each of LMxAC’s member libraries. Once they have collected all 32 unique cards, they can visit any LMxAC library to fill out a certification form to confirm they have collected all 32 cards. Library Staff will confirm that the player has collected all 32 cards. This certification form will serve as the player’s entry into the random drawing for the grand prize.
Players who have not collected a complete set of 32 unique LMxAC Member Library cards will not be eligible for a prize. Certification forms turned in after August 30, 2019 will be deemed ineligible for prizes.
Without exception, each player must present his or her own set of trading cards at an LMxAC library or branch to complete a certification form. A player cannot present a set of cards belonging to another player.
Players are responsible for the safekeeping of their trading cards and filling out information on certification forms correctly.
Players are responsible for their own transportation, parking, and any other costs and expenses related to their participation.
Eligible players can win only one (1) prize. Winners will be contacted by phone or email. If a winner cannot be contacted within 60 business days, the winner may be disqualified. Disqualification will result in the forfeiture of any prizes.
Alternative prizes may not be substituted for prizes outlined in this document.
By accepting any prize, the player certifies that he or she is eligible to enter the LMxAC Trading Card Drawing as outlined in these rules. Any person who receives a prize, but is found to be ineligible to participate for any reason outlined in these rules, shall return the prize to an LMxAC library or branch within seven (7) days of notification.
Lost or stolen prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Federal, state, and local taxes associated with the winning prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Patrons who collect all thirty-two (32) unique LMxAC Library cards will be entered into a random drawing. The prizes will be as follows:
- One (1) grand prize winner will be chosen and receive an Apple iPad (WiFi, 32GB) valued at no less than two hundred forty-nine (249) dollars.
- Five (5) runners up will be chosen and each receive one (1) gift card valued at no less than twenty-five (25) dollars for Barnes and Noble.
Decisions made by the sponsor regarding the prize drawing are final and binding. The odds of winning will be dependent on the number of entries.
Void where prohibited by law. No entry fees are required.
