The Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library seeks an enthusiastic and experienced cataloger to join our friendly team.

Job duties include:

• Cataloging (original and copy-cataloging) and processing of library materials received from various vendors; maintains quality control over bibliographic records of the library’s collections

• Collection development

• Possible occasional Circulation and ILL duties

Requirements:

• Experience cataloging in a library setting

• Experience with Polaris Vega/Leap

• MLIS, or degree in progress with Cataloging class(es) completed

Flexible schedule: 15-20 hours per week

Salary: $36.17/hr (Librarian) or $27.95/hr (Library Associate, MLIS degree in progress)
