To request materials from your library, follow the steps below:

Step 1

Visit search.stellanj.org or your library's online catalog (find a complete list with our Library Locator).

Step 2

Find an item that you want to request.  Click on the cover or title to view the individual record web page.

Step 3

If multiple formats are available, choose the one that you want.

Step 4

Click Request Any Edition if you'd like a copy from any of the available editions in this format.  If you'd like something specific (for example, an illustrated or deluxe edition), click Find Specific Edition.

Step 5

If you are not already signed in to your account, you will be prompted to do so before continuing.

Step 6

Once signed in, choose the pickup location where you want to check out this item.  (Some items must be checked out at their home library.)  You can change your default pickup location in the Account Portal's settings.

Step 7

If you want to request the item for a future date, click the "I don't need this item before" option and choose a date from the calendar tool.

Step 8

Click Confirm Selection to place the hold request.
