To pay fines and fees on your library account, follow the steps below:

Step 1

Sign in to your library account.

Step 2

Click Bills & Fines on the Account Portal.  (Or click the amount owed in the account pop-up.)

Step 3

Review the fines and fees on your account, then click Pay Fine. You will be sent to STELLA's secure payment site, SmartPAY (stellanj.org/smartpay).

Step 4

Enter your library card number and PIN / passcode.  (If you've forgotten your PIN, we have instructions on how to reset it.)  Click Login.

Step 5

On the summary page that follows, click View Details.

Step 6

Review all fines, select those that you wish to pay, and click Continue.

Step 7

Enter your email address.  Click Continue Checkout.

Step 8

Enter your credit card information: number, name on card, expiration date & year, and CVV. Enter your zip code. Click Place Your Order.
